About

I enjoy working with a range of projects including (but not limited to) web design, publications, illustrations and 3D technical art. My work often explores the intersection of technology, culture, and human experience.

I believe in design that is thoughtful, purposeful, and considers its broader impact on people and systems, which includes questioning how we adopt new tools. I'm interested in the value of friction in design processes, especially as AI tools promise to skip the messy and essential parts where thinking actually happens.

I think deeply about web aesthetics, playful interactions, and making advanced tools accessible. Currently exploring AI-assisted workflows while staying critical of how they're being deployed. I'm still mulling over what it means to stay earnest in a world increasingly obsessed with empty virality.

Outside of design, code I'm:

  • collecting CDs and making zines
  • exploring risograph printing
  • getting tattooed or tattooing
  • thinking about critical design theory
  • hanging with cats

If you're building something interesting, let's talk!
