[CONTENT?] is a microsite and immersive experience that aims to visually emulate the overload of information that we are imbued with online and especially in social media spaces. Split into two parts: OVERLOAD and OVERWHELM, the site uses machine learning and facial recognition technology to detect the user’s blinking patterns. This creates speculative scenarios that exposes the algorithmic mechanisms used by social media, through which a user’s online experience increasingly becomes obsessive and overwhelming. Works best on a full-screen desktop using Google Chrome. Please check your settings to allow permission for camera access!

Smiley Cakes is a hypothetical bakery with a strong social cause. The brand identity took on a persona, one which was kind-hearted, people-driven and bubbly to better reflect the different aspects of charity integrated within the business structure of Smiley cakes. A multi-tonal colour palette of yellow was employed to reflect the layers of the Smiley Cakes brand.

Honing on the idea of how digital waste is often left hidden to the human eye, Future Record is a project which aims to to visualise what this waste might look like if it was a 3D object with size and mass; creating an archive of the computer's forgotten dumpster. The concept draws inspiration from Timothy Morton's Hyperobject and the hypothetical global catastrophic scenario of the Grey Goo.

A microsite that aims to reimagine established relationships between reader, text, and author, and to fully utilise the affordances the web offers in the presentation of text. Inspired by the literary framework of The Hero's Journey, Deus Ex Machina utilises articles on intersection of the esoteric and the electronic (cyber mysticism, mythmaking, fiction, world building), and presents them by traversing the texts through different directions on a compass.

DiSoRiEnT is a poster that aims to capture the essence of the ubiquitous suburb of Springvale. The more tame, orderly and symmetrical physical poster represents the first impressions of the suburb, and the AR poster is the lens in which the disorienting quality of Springvale truly reveals itself.
